Benefis Health System is hosting its Men & Machines Car & Bike Show on Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Benefis Sletten Cancer Institute parking lot in Great Falls.
All proceeds from the event go to support Benefis Sletten Cancer Institute’s Circle of Hope Cancer Survivorship Program. The Circle of Hope program offers a variety of support groups and services to help patients and their families through their cancer journey.
This family-friendly event showcases more than 100 vehicles, including classic cars, muscle cars, motorcycles, and more. The event will also feature the following: a Harley-Davidson Jump Start Stationary Riding System that allows attendees to hop on and experience what it’s like to ride a Harley; a Kid Zone with face painting, die-cast car decorating and racing, coloring, and other activities; raffles for three motorized child-sized vehicles; a 50/50 drawing; men’s health and wellness information; and food and beverage vendors.
“Men & Machines is a unique car show because it’s about more than just cars. It’s also about men’s health,” said Kevin Evensen, manager of Benefis Sletten Cancer Institute. “We know that all of the amazing vehicles that come to our car show are extremely well maintained. Unfortunately, men sometimes take better care of their cars than their own health. While everyone enjoys the cars, attendees will also have the opportunity to learn more about their own recommended checkups and maintenance to ensure they can enjoy both their cars and health for many years to come.”
