Festival in the Pines celebrates 35th year

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU)– It was a rainy day, but that didn’t stop families from heading to Carson Park for the 35th annual Festival in the Pines.

The event is an area tradition, featuring hundreds of arts and crafts vendors.

Attendees can also look expect two stages of live music, food, car show, and more.

Returning events include family favorites like a petting zoo and a classic car show.

“Its where families have fun. Its a lot of things for the kids to do, the free petting zoo for the kids, that’s been a big attraction every year,” says event coordinator Dan Ropa.

Each year non- profit organizations benefit from the success of this community event.

Admission for kids under 11 is free and general admission is just $ 6.

If you missed it today, the festival will continue until 4PM Sunday afternoon.
