Residents enjoyed the 49th Annual Greenview Labor Day Celebration Monday.
The event started at 8 a.m. with a farmer’s market, followed by the traditional parade, and a Route 97 Crusaders Classic Car Show.
There was also a variety of food options.
Many residents still took time from the celebration to remember what makes the holiday significant.
“And labor unions are very important to the working man for their working conditions,” Peggy Dodd said. “I was raised up in a union family, my dad was the union.”
The event also had activities for kids, a live performance, and a homemade pie contest.
Everyone was welcome, at no cost.
