AROUND 100 classic vehicles are set to pull up to the Braintree and Bocking Public Gardens for a fundraising event.
Cl Classics’ Classic Car Show takes place on Sunday at the gardens, in Bocking End, Braintree.
Bringing together a mixture of the old and the new, petrolheads can explore the wide array of motors on show.
There’s something for all the family with a children’s play area, beer tent and market stalls scattered throughout the gardens.
Lisa Cameron, of CL Classics, said: “We have got a replica child size Batmobile so children can have their photos taken inside.
“There are things like American police cars, classic Fords and 12 or so MGs. Then we have a collection of camper vans as well.
“We are getting a wide variety of vehicles that we hope will please everybody.”
A range of food and drink stalls will also be available on site and there will be live music performed throughout the event.
A fancy dress competition will take place, with a 40s, 50s and 60s theme for outfits. Anyone wearing a competition will automatically be entered.
Entrance costs £5, with tickets only available at the gate. Under 12s go free when accompanied by an adult.
All of the profits from the event will be donated to the Braintree and Bocking Gardens Trust.
If there is severe weather over the weekend the show may be cancelled.
